Objective: to introduce a new generation to Tommy Jeans and position the brand as a supportive, community-focused force in emerging music

Context: Back in the 90’s, Tommy Hilfiger was widely associated with and embraced by the world music as an authentic brand that celebrated creative self-expression and individualism. This is as true today as it was then. Offering modern, design based streetwear, Tommy Jeans is for those who embrace individuality. So a Tommy Jeans x Sofar Sounds collaboration was a natural fit.

The two brands teamed up to celebrate music, style and community through a series of intimate showcases in Tommy Jeans stores in London and Dublin. 6 emerging artists each received a style session with the Tommy team to curate a set of new stage looks, then performed for an audience of 75-100 fans, brand VIP’s and influencers in their new swag. A content and artist social media campaign boosted the reach of the campaign well-past the event dates.

My role: As Project Manager, I oversaw all production and client relations, leading local crews in each city. My responsibilities included talent booking, stylist scheduling, venue dressing, promotion, guest list management, content production, data capture and analysis, and all client reviews and approvals.

The results: Fans were treated to a one-of-a-kind grassroots musical experience, creating a personal connection to Tommy Jeans’ far-reaching music roots, and artists left the show feeling that Tommy Jeans supports them in an honest and tangible way.
